Suspect On Loose After Chase Bank Robbery In Westchester

Police are investigating a bank robbery of a Chase location on Tarrytown Road in White Plains.

Investigators from the Greenburgh Police Department were dispatched to Chase Bank on Tarrytown Road at approximately 2:45 p.m. on Friday, April 13, where there was a report of an alleged robbery.

According to police, the suspect passed a note to the teller, taking off on foot after allegedly stealing an undisclosed amount of cash. The same bank branch was robbed last year.

Police described the suspect as an African-American man wearing a black and white shirt, red, hooded sweatshirt with a black hood. He was also wearing a black hat with a red brim, blue jeans and white sneakers.

The alleged robbery is under investigation by Greenburgh Police Department detectives. Anyone with information has been asked to contact investigators by calling (914) 989-1725.
